Green Step LLC is proud to introduce “510nm” at 1353 U Street NW.
510nm is a mix-used sustainable designed project in the heart of the 14th/ U Street corridor – the epic center of DC urban renaissance. The building is situated in a historic neighborhood well known for its cultural heritage in Jazz and African American history. With the reopening of the Studio Theater, the Lincoln Theater, and the establishment of many contemporary fine art galleries within the nearby neighborhood, the 14th/U Street corridor also has exploded into the preeminent art scene for Washington DC.
510nm offers easy access to all these cultural amenities and it is only one block away from the U Street/Cardozo metro stop on the green/yellow line. The redeveloped building will include a 3000+ square foot rental retail space with a U Street frontage, a 2500+ square foot rental retail/office space on the second floor, and two rental luxury condos on the top floors.
Green Step LLC is also an environmental conscious developer with a strong emphasis on sustainable design. Thanks to the design team at Inscape Studio, 510nm meets LEED requirement (A New Shade of Green in D.C.).
The project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2008.
